Out of curiosity, did the double cardan joint go bad in yours? Stat making a rattling and vibrating?

No I'm missing the other end, I bought the truck non running and the precious owner was a douche and took it out and said it was bad so he somehow lost half of the drive shaft... He just drove around in front wheel drive instead of fixing it right... So I rescued the truck rebuilt the motor and I did find a driveshaft at car-part.com .... Yota yard also had one but I went with WNC AUTO PARTS. I got one for 95 plus 25 shipping....

LOL gotcha. Well, a word of advice, if the double cardan joint has a lot of play or is tight, rebuild it before you put it in. A lot of people will tell you it can't be done but you just have to know where to look. Any drive shaft shop can get the parts. I rebuilt mine and did new U joints and had it balanced as well for under $80. And good call on the WNC auto parts! I just went over there a couple weeks ago and bought all kinds of stuff off of them. They are really cheap.

you will love it, just watch the trails some arent marked very good as in easy or hard and what-not, but most are marked pretty good.... i nose dived my rubicon off a huge boulder on a supposedly EASY trail...! rock bumpers saved me though...!

    Started automatic. Swapped to manual
Just wondering if there is a difference between auto trans and manual trans for that truck year. Is there enough slip room to use either? Probably dumb question. I do know they are different lengths.

also i have a new tailgate handle, door mirrors, lugnuts, and new clutch on the way. i cant
