I know, I was following your build. It was also what gave me the inspiration. I figured i would see what I could find on here as well as other online sites. I am in no hurry. Do you have any pointers? Did I miss anything off my list?

Does anyone know if a 1997 Four Runner 3.4 4x4 parts will work? I got a PM on a steal for all of the parts and it is local. just don't know if they will bolt up.

Well I lucked out finding my parts for the conversion. I was able to locate a 98 4Runner at a local junkyard. I was surprised that all the 4x4 parts were still on the truck. I was able to work a deal with the junkyard owner. $1000 for everything and they remove the parts. I am also expecting my bumpers and rock sliders to be in next week, and he is going to give me $250 for my old bumpers, step bars, and a few other OEM parts.

So far that brings my total to $750. I still need the interior plastic but new at Toyota is only $58. With the money I have saved I think I will take the transmission and T-case to a local transmission shop and have them go through it. Also probably pick up some new CVs
