Sorry for this being my first post on tacomaworld, but its time to sell and start a fund for the newborn.

2001 Toyota Tacoma TRD, 2.7L 4cyl engine with a 5 speed transmission. I’ve owned the truck since 2001 and it currently has 121,560 miles on it. I have modified a lot of the truck to be a rock crawler that you can drive daily and wheel on the weekends. 3 years ago I did a Solid Axle swap to the truck; adding a built Dana 44 front axle, 2nd transfer case, and giving the truck 37 inch Mickey Thompson MTZ tires. I’m selling every aspect of the truck, from bumper to bumper.
    Engine:
    Northwest off road header
new exhaust put on last summer
    180 amp Mean Green alternator
    Red top Optima battery
    Polyurethane engine mounts
    Suspension:
I called Alcan and ordered custom leaf strings for the front and rear of the truck, designed to flex off-road. The front springs are for a first generation Toyota Truck for 4 inches of lift. The rear springs are for a Tacoma 6 inches of lift. I ordered my SAS kit from Front Range off-road, very complete kit.
    Wheels/Tires:
37 inch Mickey Thompson MTZ with 85% tread left, I only have 15k miles on them if that
    17 inch pro comp wheels.
    Axles:
Both axles are using 4.88s gears from Yukon gears
Both axles have adjustable lockers in them, front has a ARB and the rear has factory E-locker
Front Axle: High pinion Dana 44 modified: chromoly axles, CTM U-joints, High Steer, 1 ton ball joints, axle probably has no more than 20k miles on it when it was built. New Brake pads. Tom Wood’s custom driveshaft with a crazy amount of slip and a super flex U-joint
Rear Axle: New brakes, U-bolt flip kit
    Transfer Cases:
First Case is an Inch Worm case with 4.7 gears in it for crawling.
Second case is a v6 Tacoma case, stock with a Front Range cross member clocked 15 degrees.
    Interior:
I’ve mounted Volvo leather seats for comfort, love the lumbar support. Toyota shift knobs, and rubber floor mats. AC and the heat work great.
    Armor:
Front Bumper: Badland bumper, KC lights, and a Warn 9.5 using Synthetic rope. The winch is fast and reliable. The synthetic rope is safe and I’m using 3/8ths to support 20k lbs just to be safe.
    Sliders: square sliders
Underneath: Front Range skid plate for the transfer case, custom extension to cover the crawler and combined into a transmission mount. E-locker skid plate on the rear axle.
Rear: CBI rear bumper that wraps around the bed of the truck.
    Problems:
Soft brake pedal, you can lock all the tires down, but the pedal feel is soft.
front diff has a drip through a plug weld, needs to be topped off once a year
Fluid drip from between the two transfer cases, needs to be topped off ever couple of months.
Dents: Big one in the tail gate, still works. Passenger side rear bed side
Location: Douglasville Ga, 30135 (1 hour west of Atlanta on I-20)
New Parts: Brake pads front and rear, starter, master cylinder.
    Price: $12,000 Cash
    Thanks,
    Christian ( 404- four zero six-2026 )

Years ago there was a great write up on ttora about putting the volvo seats in the tacomas. The 99ish volvos all used to run the same style of leather seats. The rails are the same width, so I found some on ebay and shipped them to the house for under 200. It took better part of a day to install, drill out the rivets on the tacomas and use the feet. Weld bolts on the rails of the volvos and bolt them down. I've had them in for 10 years now, super comfy with the lumbar and material doesn't rub your skin raw after a day of wheeling.

Sorry, I never did an official build thread. I've been building/adding things to the truck for 11 years. I just have a thread here or there, nothing official
