    Hi all,

We're trying to expand the family so my Taco is going to have to go.
Too bad too, I've put a lot of money into to it to get it how I want and now she drives smooth as glass.

    She has:
Firestone Destination A/T tires - only a few months old.
    Icon Stage 2 suspension.
    Light Racing Upper Control Arms.
    New steering rack.
    Husky floor liners
    Bedrug
    Snugtop
    Locking rear differential
Heated Seats believe it or not. They're fantastic.
    All new front end bushings.
    FJ80 wheels
Probably something else I can't think of.....

The truck will soon have 150,000 miles and runs like a top.

The bad is a short list:
I have an aftermarket muffler. It's not bad, but it doesn't sound like stock. Only slightly louder.
It has a light out in the dash.
The big one is it needs work cosmetically. The tailgate has a dent, there's some surface rust where my former truck cap rubbed on the bed. There's a bullet hole in the hood and some surface rust on the front bumper. The wheels are fair and could be painted.

    Anyway, I'm asking $14,500 obo.
Let me know if anyone is interested.

    Thanks.

Nice truck, I just sold mine, which was eerily similar. What's the story with the bullet hole?

The hazards of living in Lynn, MA.
Lynn, Lynn the city of sin they call it. It's just North of Boston and where my tailgate was dented and where I got that nice shiny bullet hole.

No real story, my wife and I walked out of our place and saw a bullet resting on the hood. Someone fired a round in the air overnight. No one really knows where, but we did have the cops on the case: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1st-gen-tacomas/191008-bullet-hole-mod.html

Can you share how much you sold your ride for?
I have no idea if I'm in the ballpark or not. Especially worried here on the Right Coast. The Left Coasters seem to have less reservations about purchasing an older Taco...
