    2000 TRD 4x4 off road V6 SR5 automatic, E-lock differential, No rust issues on frame (that's why took me so long to find) , power windows, power Sold at 263,900 on odometer

    Post is still so many buyers looked at it & get to know about RUST FRAME issues before jumping on cheap buys, many frames have the cancer of RUST therefore not worth the trouble. Talking about rust...."TacoGleen" did hell of the job, some of his informative links about rust below, Sadly many 1st gen and 2nd generation have issues so watch the video of a real frame inspection on a 1997

    Leer camper, bug-rug, fox suspension 2.0 rear, fox 2.5 front, BAMF sliders and LCA, TRD fake 3 piece rims
    when carfax has drivability performance, means owner brought it in to the dealer for issue. Did not get it fixed and probably went somewhere to get it repaired. This could mean anything new transmission, new engine, overhaul, tuneup, etc....

    13 tacoma TRD Off road.ARE shell no rust anywhere period.
    2 in spacer lift front 2, in AAL rear [tundra leaf] , flip up tow mirrors, ARE shell electric brake controller and cooper ATP 265/r70x16 tires on stock TRD wheels
    Living in the desert south west I find it hard to find a truck that does have rust. Im new to Tacoma and have heard of their legendary reliability but the mileage on this truck would scare me to death. I wish you the best with your new purchase sounds like you are happy and that is what maters.:)

    I'm not an expert on 1st gen truck prices but $6k for a nice clean one seems like a good price. I wouldn't worry about the paint either. It's a truck man.

    I got super lucky when I found my 2004 DC with 18k 4x4. A fellow member was kind enough to inspect and test drive the truck for me since I was 1k miles away. I got a sweet deal and a sweet truck. Keep looking they are out there.

    I'm confused on how this is in the Buy/Sell/Trade section since the thread starts out with "I found a rust free truck" and now there is a vague mention on page 2 that it "may be for sale" with no price listed.
