    I have a 98 Tacoma with the v6 5vz motor, I need to replace the valve cover gasket and i don't wanna mess anything up taking the intake manifold off. If anyone knows of a DIY out there for this, it would be very greatly appreciated.

    Disconnect these cables
    (1) w/ Cruise control:
    Cruise control actuator cable
    (2) Accelerator cable
    (3) A/T:
    Throttle cable
    8. DISCONNECT HOSES
    Disconnect these hoses:
    (1) Brake booster vacuum hose
    (2) EVAP hose
    (3) 4WD only:
    A.D.D. Vacuum hose
    (4) Fuel return hose
    (5) Fuel inlet hose
    9. REMOVE INTAKE CHAMBER STAY
    (a) Remove the 2 bolts and No.1 throttle cable clamp.
    (b) Remove the 2 bolts and intake chamber stay.
    10. REMOVE NO.2 TIMING BELT COVER

    11. REMOVE AIR INTAKE CHAMBER ASSEMBLY
    (a) Disconnect these connectors and these hoses:
    (1) Throttle position sensor connector
    (2) IAC valve connector
    (3) 2 PCV hoses
    (4) 2 water bypass hoses
    (5) Air assist hose from throttle body
    (b) Remove the 4 bolts, 2 nuts, the air intake chamber assembly
    and gasket.
    12. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR
    (a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the engine wire.
    (b) Disconnect these hoses:
    (1) Fuel return hose
    (2) Vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator
    (c) Remove the bolt and disconnect the ground strap from
    the intake air connector.
    (d) Disconnect the DLC1 from the bracket.
    (e) Remove the 3 bolts and 2 nuts, then intake air connector
    and gasket.
