    of course
Sounds like the speed limit is incorrect for that road. 55MPH where there are driveways and hills with no vision over the top. Maybe the government should be hassled to correct this.

Ryan, sorry you smashed your Tacoma. It looked like a nice one. I hope the lady is okay and you have insurance.

Glad you're relativly ok and your girl is too. Everyone else has said it but hopefully you and your girl learned the lesson on seat belts. If someone doesn't buckle up in my car I'll brake check them the second we're moving and they buckle up.

My buddy actually was in this situation awhile back, only he woudl have been in the camaro's spot. He got pretty lucky too... but unfortunatly for you there's no denying who is at fault especially if you got a ticket. Hopefully you have good insurance coverage and a good company that will take care of all involved.

The taco will probably be a write off I'm guessing. The value to parts damaged looks pretty bad as it'll need pretty much an entire new front end of parts, windshield, ect.

Sucks but could have been a hell of a lot worse, GL in the insurance game...

id say thats totaled, insurance companys dont like to mess with frames of cars, its easier to deem it totaled. but they wont know till they get it on a lift and look underneath it

OP, glad you, your gf, and the other driver are relatively okay. I think the lesson learned is to disregard most of the Monday-morning-quarterbacks on this website...frankly, I think all of you who are slamming this guy are a bunch of a-holes; kudos to all of you perfect drivers with unblemished records (that's sarcasm...hypocrites).

OP, take care brother...hindsight is 20/20 man. Again, glad everyone's okay.

[EDIT: imho, your truck it toast.]

Dude, wear a seat belt or next time you won't be so lucky to survive another crash. You can always replace your truck, but when you're gone....you're gone.

i bet the accident was enough to convince the OP to wear his seat belt from now on...i dont think anyone else needs to say it. glad everyone's ok and it sounds to me like maybe the speed limit should be lowered in that area or at least a sign that says "blind hill" or something like that.
