Same problem with all these 1st gens. They want $3-5k over book for these things.

I got so pissed off with the used 1st gen scene that I went out and bought a brand new 2nd gen.

Looks real sharp, but it would be impulsive to go for it at 15 grand.

I think 13k is fair (given the current Tacoma market) without the SAS...It has all options and is very clean, also only has 60k miles. So 15 with SAS (if it's done right) seems like its not too far off, IMHO.

I just looked for Tacomas in May and that's what they were selling for. I mean, I bought an 01 with all options (except auto, of course) and 150k miles for 8 grand.

3" EZ lift kit Black from extremetrucktoys.com, Pro Comp 7089 16X8 Flat Black Wheels, Nitto 285/75/16 Tires and two full matching spares, added the UnderCover Black Composite Tonneau Cover and love it...Sabersport black headlights, Grillcraft Black mesh grille, T-Rex 2 Eyelids, will be adding Total Chaos UCAs soon from downsouth motorsports for $651.70....
that sucks when u read a classified add for a truck and they dont give you detailed info of what's been done and its really just vague cuz $15,000 is steep unless its got complete documentation to go along with a long list of great mods with exellent quality parts.

If you read about the truck is says its a 5 speed manual (its not). it seems to me that you would know whether your truck is manual or auto. somethings just dont add up..... but on the other hand it could be a great truck.

    A few bolts are different.
this is a street queen SAS machine. its spring under and has no Elocker. Not saying its not a nice truck but whats the point of the single axle if not utilized correctly. Maybe it was wrecked.

check the pics on Elite motors in GA you can enlarge them for better detail

I don't think it is a true TRD, and with crank windows ehh, but nice truck.

I'm with taco76087 it doesn't add up to be a true trd. Correct me if I'm wrong but the Sr5 package comes with cruise control which the truck has an aftermarket one. Also I might be missing it but I don't see the rear diff locker button either which is on the trd offroad package. So the truck doesn't seem to be what they say it is. But that's just my opinion.
