Grille Color Matched or Stay Chrome?

I plan on doing a Grillcraft with some hella lights behind it, but should I do my chrome grille surround Color Matched or leave it chrome, or maybe black. Let me know what you think.

Black might work, but having the chrome bumber makes me think you should stick with the chrome.

I voted before I saw your truck. Gen 1 I would leave the chrome. I voted color matched thinking gen 2.

 

color match, but only if you do the bumper too. Otherwise leave it.

 

I'm having the same issues... I got the chrome as well. I'm thinking I may leave it chrome, but sue ur color match is sweet. I wanted to see what itd look like with the whole bumper color matched

My truck had color matched when I bought it. Hear is a crappy picture but you get the general idea.

My grill was broken, Didnt like the cheap billet, Then I bought the grill it was the dark grey. i didnt want to paint it, Plus i was originally planning to paint my truck Gun Metal which didnt happen. Maybe When I repaint the truck in a year since current paint job is not holding up for crap.

Thanks, A lot of people do the 01-04 conversion when they build a truck cause there basicly replacing everything anyways.

I agree with the majority on here, I wanna color match my rear bumper and grille...I hate chrome

 

You could always just colour match the grill, and wrap the bumper chrome in black vinyl. That way the bumper is at least all black. I did my rear chrome bumper a few weeks ago.

 

What's the cost like on a wrap?
