    I plan on doing a Grillcraft with some hella lights behind it, but should I do my chrome grille surround Color Matched or leave it chrome, or maybe black. Let me know what you think.

    Black might work, but having the chrome bumber makes me think you should stick with the chrome.

    I voted before I saw your truck. Gen 1 I would leave the chrome. I voted color matched thinking gen 2.

    Welded roll pan, custom tail lights, tail lights are candied and smoked, 20' chrome rims 225/35/20, Line-X Xtra bedliner, Chassis Tech leafs, LCE short shifter, Eibach drop coils, 3 peice Racemesh grille, 4 wd lower valance w/ Racemesh grille (not yet finished and installed), blacked headlights, corners and blinkers, Hid headlights, Eclipse head unit. Have new rims on order (HP Design Lightning 18'), single pane rear window, shaved tailgate, all windows tinted including full windsheild,
    color match, but only if you do the bumper too. Otherwise leave it.

    I'm having the same issues... I got the chrome as well. I'm thinking I may leave it chrome, but sue ur color match is sweet. I wanted to see what itd look like with the whole bumper color matched

    Ya, I don't remember you saying why you swapped it but it looked better like that.

    My grill was broken, Didnt like the cheap billet, Then I bought the grill it was the dark grey. i didnt want to paint it, Plus i was originally planning to paint my truck Gun Metal which didnt happen. Maybe When I repaint the truck in a year since current paint job is not holding up for crap.:mad:

    Thanks, A lot of people do the 01-04 conversion when they build a truck cause there basicly replacing everything anyways.

    Anyways. back on the subject.

    You could always just colour match the grill, and wrap the bumper chrome in black vinyl. That way the bumper is at least all black. I did my rear chrome bumper a few weeks ago.
