Well I've always been a Jeep guy having owned two Wranglers, two Cherokees and a Comanche but thought it was time to move on. I sold my 2004 wrangler which was lifted locked and riding like crap on 35s. I purchased a 2002 double cab Tacoma TRD with 70k on it. I love it, it runs so much better then the jeep. I am planning on lifting the Taco about 3". I will probably get new rear leafs(my look pretty shot) and Blistiens in the back and either spacers or lift struts up front with a diff drop kit. Want to run some 285 all terrains on aftermarket wheels with 4" backspacing. Hopefully the ride quality will be better then that of a lifted Wrangler since the Taco is my daily driver.

Grey wire MOD, deck plate, diff breather MOD, 2nd gen. OME 883# on Tundra 5100's, OMD custom 3" leafsprings, rear shock relocation, Ivan Stewart TRD rims w/285/75/16's, '02 bumper MOD, Famous Fabrications sliders , LED interior/exterior lights, bed bar, Custom tube bumper, Old school KC day lighters,Red Ring 8" HID flood, Kenwood vhf 2M.. umm some other shit I'm forgetting right now
Welocome to TW & nice truck BTW.. A popular & inexpensive mod for your truck would be Bilstein 5100's for the front & 5125's for the rear & yeah I think the stock Tacoma springs are too soft , if they aren't completely sacked get an AAL (Add A Leaf) kit. Set the front shocks for 2.5" & with the AAL you should have a pretty much lifted, level much improved ride.....:D

Get a new leaf pack and if you lift the front, have them made to be however inches taller

Welcome! and nice ride. Its ganna look close to mine when its done. Nice choice! :)
Try not to go spacer's in the front, its a pretty stiff ride. But OME struts and or Toytec coilover's are awsome.
