    with these kits do they have everything needed for it? or are there other things needed for the engine take take that kind of power upgrade? i too would love to have one eventually but unfortunately not enough funds aha

    If you want to use the full potential of the supercharger it's a never ending endeavor. You will want things like a CAI, headers midpipe and catback, piggyback ECU and a few other electronic calibrators. Will need a trans upgrade part (can't remember). Tons of tuning time on a dyno...
    That's why I don't have one yet.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
    Actually forced air intakes makes your engine more efficient. If you are light on the peddle, your gas milage should increase. HOWEVER, if you dont use high octane gas you can get some knocking issues. Others have stated that you need new injectors for the knocking issues as well (Supra Injectors are hotswappable from what I hear and have been said to help).

    You'll also want to look into maybe a new fuel pump as well as the above mentioned parts for max potential (however not really required).

    that's just a kit that adds another injector to help fueling (maybe to remedy the knocking, i don't know)

    the kit i linked it the actual supercharger

    pay more for gas and lose miles per gallon...you wont get better gas milage

    Actually you will. It's only a mile or 2 a gallon, but it will help. It's proven. The new 5.7l tundra gets 3 mpg better with the supercharger. That's pretty decent.

    I had one on my 02 Tacoma. All I did was the basic super charger. I had to run 93 octane or it did get some knock. I drive about 100 miles to work and back each day. Had it on the truck for about 40k miles. No issues whats so ever, never suck another dime into the truck once I put the super charger on it.

    I lost about 1 mpg at the worst. Granted that was just normal driving. I am sure if my foot was buried in the throttle it would had been worst, but it made the truck run great. Did not have to down shift for a hill after that...
