I think I may trade my truck in for this puppy. Just wanted to get some comments from the TW folks.

I plan to test drive it either this weekend or the next.

Anything you guys can think of, that I should ask the stealership?

    Thanks!:)

From the looks of it, it has some sizable damage on the driver's side, from the back of the cab to the fuel door. Could be pictures, but it doesn't look anything special.

Good call on the carfax, didn't even think about it. Looks like it was in two accidents.

    10/27/2006 Kentucky
    Damage Report Accident Reported
    Involving right rear impact
    It hit a motor vehicle
    Very minor damage reported

    04/30/2007 Kentucky
    Damage Report Accident Reported
    Involving rear impact
    It hit a culvert
    It hit a fixed object
    Moderate damage reported

One of my concerns were the struts and coilovers in the front holding up that bumper, I wonder if they are still factory or if they are aftermarket?

What would you pay for the truck??

KBB suggests $10,600 in excellent condition. If it were me, I would low ball in the mid $8000 and go from there. I would be hesitant to pay more than $8750.

8,000 as is. Maybe 10,000 with no accident report and clean body.

I was going to say $8,000 to $8,500 as well. $9,000 would be my top if everything else checked out when I saw it in person.

Would you guys be concerned about what's holding up that front bumper? and of course how its held on there bolted or welded?

If it is a stock suspesion, I would change it out for an OME set-up. You can't really tell for certain what it has based on the pics available.

    x2 on the front suspension.

But that history ain't great, and there is no apparent record of the T-belt at 90k, plus the mileage and damage, I would keep looking. This spec (TRD SR5 V6 5-speed Xtra cab 4WD) is not easy to find and it does pull a premium price in general, but you can do better. You can expect to spend 10-12k on a perfect truck of this spec with about 100k miles, depending on regional market demand.

    To much to list!
I payed 13k for my truck 4yrs ago with 100k miles. Ya mines only a prerunner but still. Thats only 1k less then I paid and has 37k mile more then I had. Then there's body damage. I would say around 8k 9k would be my max

Go take a real close look at it. Climb under it, inspect it, look everywhere keeping a close eye for any frame damage etc.

If looks decent, seems legit, don't mind the history and you can work 'em down to a reasonable figure as mentioned above, then go for it.

Otherwise if they don't want to come down on the price, find another one out there that has a clean history and hasn't been in any accidents. Keep in mind if you ever want to sell it down the road, you will have to deal with it's 'rough' history as well and most likely wouldn't get as much for it as you would with one that has a clean slate.

Looks to have been lifted a little, last time I looked at KBB it only went back to 2005, am I looking in the wrong place?

So I called them and they would only go down to $9985 + tax & title.
