I run wheel spacers an my truck. People say they put stress on the wheel bearings. I have had them on my truck for about 3years. I bought my truck it had 2" wheel spacers so I really don't know how long they were really on there. But I currently have 1.25" wheel spacers do to wheel back spacing. I push my truck harder then most people and have not had any issues. Iv seen them used on race trucks before also. I say go for it.

Hub centric is the try of spacer. Tacoma are hubcentric older toyotas are not. Dont know the whole meaning of it but hubcentric is a bigger hub then most. I have spidertrax wheel spacers on my truck.
