78,000 miles and some work needs to be done

My taco just hit 78k miles and I am wondering is it time to change the suspension? Ride seems to be a bit bumpy. How bout gettin some bilstein's on this bitch? Also my throttle is and gas pedal seem to be a little slower than when i bough tit. I have supercharger in the closet and I am just waiting for the fuel upgrade kit from urd. Toyota said it would be around a grand to install the charger. Should I take to well respected mechanic and have it done for a couple hundred or so cheaper or is it better ot have it done by toyota? I can't do something like that by myself. What other things should I have the mechanic look over before the charger is installed to make sure everything is kosher before installing it?

Being on the conservative side I would hold of on the SC, wait until this fuel scam settles down. As for service I would talk to the BBB and get a list of recommended mechanics, and for that matter see if the dealer your thinking of falls into that category. Have the chosen shop go on a test drive, with you in cab and have the tech explain what you are hearing and feeling, get a list and start slowing replacing and repairing. There is a frame rusting issue on 1st gens so I would look there first, and if it's a V-6, you have a timing belt to replace around 90,000. Good luck
