I'm running stockers on my 3" but I'm probably going to go with some 32-11.5s when I find new rims and fix up my rear suspension

Great on the gears. Hope there not to hard on the 2.7

our tacomas are very much the same color, lift, and rims
im having the same problem deciding on 265/75/16 or 33s i just dont want the tires to rub on the ucas
i think im going to buy 33s from treadwright.com alot cheaper and if i dont like them or too big i can still afford a smaller tire that fits right

Sorry for digging up an old post, but I found this on a Google search and wanted to chime in. My truck has a 3 inch lift with 31s and looks fine to me, there's some space in the wheel well but I had rubbing with 33s even with the lift. Rubbed on the frame and control arms. I think this picture is with the old tires but they were worn down. 31s and a 3 inch lift doesn't look bad at all.

why would you need tire/fender clearance with the stock sized tires (31")??

IMO, a 3" lift with 31's looks a bit goofy. When you get to the point where you see more fenderwell than tire, it just doesn't look right.

Almost like this (obviously not THIS bad, though):

(notice the flatbiller dutifully ArmorAll-ing his tires, lol)

hey what do you measure from the top of your front tire to the bottom of your fender flare out of curiosity cause i have the 883 in my truck now and im having to lift the rear another 1.5" to match the front.:D

This truck is a work truck - not a lot of fancy mod's here, but it's getting the job done!
My truck, stock height (pre-runner) on 31x10.5x15's. I think it would look silly to have it 3 inches taller and keep 31's - If I lift my truck 3 inches, I'd at least 33-35's on it... Some trimming might be required, but it'd look great.

Good looking lifts on this thread! Consider me sub'd... Currently saving up to get me that 5100/Eibach setup to get me as close to a 3" lift as possible. Once that happens I'll be running my 31's until I can afford to go bigger
