    Stupid starter went out, getting it replaced tomorrow. From what I have seen, these engines last if taken care of. Rated 190HP at the crank. Also I am somehow getting around 19.7 mpg after the mods.

    Seems like a very common occurance, 2nd gen people not noticing they are in the 1st gen forum. It's obviously because deep down, they all wish they owned a superior 1st gen instead :D

    My 2000 was in great shape... ...other than those pesky half dollar sized holes in the frame. That, apparently was beyond my control, despite the rustproofing and consistent power washing during the winter months.

    At least they stoodbnehind it with the buyback, which i used to buy the 09...
