just out of curiosity, do your brake lights ever come on when you are parked and out of the truck?

I had this happen to mine and it was the lever on the back of the drivers side drum. it had seized. I removed it, cleaned it, and kubed it up good.

Cmack also had this happen and found it to be the rear cable spring assembly(?). He lubed that up and it fixed his.

If you've checked everything else.... and your rear brake shoes are in good condition, are wearing evenly, and cycling properly.... then check your ebrake cable for SLACK.

Pull the level out and count the 'clicks'. There should be 12-18 clicks. If you have more than that, you need to adjust the ebrake cable.
