change clock color?

    2017 Tacoma Dbl cab long bed.
    Hood Strusts, remote Start, truck came with Leveling kit and wheels.
    has anyone changed the clock color? I have changed all the lights in my truck to red. It would be awesome if i could change the clock to red..

    The clock is VFD (vacuum fluorescent display) & as far as I know you wouln't be able to mod it to change the color except by using a colored film in front of the display. This would only work if the VFD display is white or light bluish.


    It's not red, it's amber on the 01-04s.
