Hello sir, Welcome to TW!! After dubious research, the correct answer is 36 ft/lbs of torque is required for the installation of the Exhaust manifold to the Cylinder head.

Thank you, and enjoy your day.

This one. The 2003 FSM will be pretty much spot on for your 98. The electrical will differ however. The 96 manual is a downloadable PDF that can be a bear to search. Enjoy.

This link doesn't work anymore, any idea what book it was? I think mine sucks...

Also, are you supposed to go back and re-torque like other parts require? Mine is leaking and it was done less than a year ago. I installed a mini header myself and torqued it to what the book said. I was also very careful while installing it. I'm very tedious when it comes to my truck, I wanna make sure it's done properly the first time.

    Thanks in advance!

It was the factory service manual. There's no reason not to retorque. The heat cycling could have loosened them.
