Got a leak on the drivers side floor board of my 01 and can't figure out where its coming from?? I replaced the damaged weatherseal around the door, sealed the rubber plugs in the floorboard with silicone and its still leaking?? Can anyone offer some feedback or advice? Short of tearing out all of the interior, Im at a loss..

Had a lot of rain lately? Could be leaking around the windshield seal.

i had a brand new 2010 that done that. when i went to get the truck that i have now i needed to clean out the leaking truck. they had the wipers off and that black cowl thing under wipers. they seemed to think it was leaking at the bottom of windshield and top of firewall.

I found an elusive leak that came in where a portion of the wiring harness penetrates the firewall. Turns out that the body seam sealer above it had a nib in just the right place and the black goo around the penetration had separated. The combination of these things allowed a steady drip of water to go right into the corrugated wire wrap stuff (whatever it's called) and run into the cab. Some generic black goo from Advance Auto Parts and no leak since.

Have someone pour water over your windshield and watch what happens under your dash. This is how we diagnosed it.

Yep mine leaked too right where the wires came thru the fire wall, sealed it with silicone and it stopped.
