weird electrical problem

    nothing....yet
    i've noticed that when i turn on my lights that the knob to turn on the a/c the light behind it won't be on i have to tap the knob for it to turn on and also the lights that light up where my gearshift is so i can see if i'm in drive or neutral do the same thing i have to tap on my gearshift to get it on. anyone know what can cause this.

    Loose connection. If the diode is loose enough it'll eventually just go out all together and tapping won't do the trick.

    how in the heck do i fix that? obviously i can take it to toyota but i like fixing my own shit, its cheaper and i get to learn.
