Did a search for it on TW, but nothing real solid came up. Anyone ever try this stuff?

I know its got a few less than glowing reviews elsewhere. But, I put more stock in TW than in what the rest of the internet says.

    stock, for now
thats the black chrome stuff right? If it is, me and a buddy used it on his winter wheels over the weekend. Came out alright, but we laid it on to thick and it came out green. If you follow the directions on the can, and dont do ALOT of coats, it will look good.

I was thinking about that too. I just realized I have aluminum rims though, so I doubt it would look that great on my rims.

i bought it thinking i could black out my back bumper and grill. it took both cans to just do the back bumper. its advertised as a "black chrome" but really it looks like a really really dark blue. other guys who have seen my truck say the same thing... but only after i mention it. the kit is $20 which is cheap but it didnt meet my expectations. just my .02

I used in on the Toyota emblem in my grille and it turned out pretty good. It is a lot like the nite shades stuff that everyone uses to do their tails. It is a transluscent paint. It looks like I just painted it black in the picture below, but if you get it out in the sun, it actually shines like chrome.
