Amsoil + 60,000 mile=Good idea?, and more

I am nearing 60,000 miles on my '04. I was thinking of replacing my differential, cooling, and transmission fluids with Amsoil. Is this worth it in y'alls opinions?

Also what would be the recommendations for the fluids I need. There are a couple ones listed on the website and I think there is a certain combination for the locking differential.

Wouldn't hurt a thing, I say go for it.

 

For the differential you'll need to add 4 oz. (the bottle) of Amsoil Sliplok Additive. I've been using Amsoil on my truck since I purchased it new, it's got 68000 miles on it and no problems.

 

I don't think that the additive is required for the locking differential as it it is not a LSD. Mine just calls for straight 75-90. (the OP has a first gen)

 

wont hurt a thing.....i put amsoil signature series 0w-30.....35000 mile or one year......i am going to pull my dipstick jimmy to show you all what amsoil looks like after 7 months (granted only drove 3,000 miles ha!) i put it in my 07 altima nissan at 68,000 miles

 

i have a buddy that dumps amsoil into his ranger that has 180,000 miles....it was leakin before he started using amsoil imagine that.....he just adds till full amsoil all the time ha!

 

amsoil in my honda mower.....crf50......bottom end of my cr500 and fuel mix dominator red cap......oh i think i used amsoil in my ryobi trimmer 4 stroker.......my engine and transin my car and truck it's everywhere besides the trans(Yota).....my sold bikes trx400ex honda cbr954rr cbr600f4 all amsoil never a failure

 

i do not endorse amsoil nor am i a dealer and i was not paid to say that....all i know is this stuff is slicker than a minnow's pedar

 

I do have a TRD with a LSD...

 

I may just replace all the fluids, considering I bought the truck with 49,000 miles on it and have no idea how it was treated before me.

 

I don't think that LSD's were available form Toyota in '04.

its a locker...so it just requires the regular 80w-90 gear fluid?
