Rusted 97 Tacoma

Does anybody know if they are still buying back the rusty Tacomas? I have a 97 Tacoma and I was just shown how bad the rust is and now I am worried about driving it.

 

The frame rust coverage is for 15 years from original purchase - so yours should be covered. I know sometimes they are buying back, sometimes replacing the frame, sometimes just giving you a free rust coating. Take it to a dealer to see what they say!

97 I think would be a buyback. Get in as fast as you can... you have to have the first inspection by the end of October (this month) to qualify for the extended warranty if it fails. Good luck!

 

I finally got through to somebody today and they had told me the rust was taken care of on my truck. I told them they better check again. It goes in to Toyota Friday. I hope it makes it that far.. Thanks for the info
