Don't kno what it could be

I had that same code, it's either an exhaust leak, an O2 sensor, or the cat converter. Could be if yours went away maybe an O2 sensor that's nearing the end of its usable life. Have you noticed any change in MPG's? An old, malfunctioning O2 or air/fuel sensor can make a difference in mileage. Whatever caused it, probably not critical you get it fixed right away, but some states (MA at least) will fail you for inspection if your computer has a CEL code in it.

 

change your O2 sensor when you get a chance. Your CEL will come back on.

 

Thanks for all the advice guys. At least it's not crucial at the moment to fix but I def will replace it as soon as I can. This forum and everyone on it are lifesavers bc I prob wouldve freaked out and got the wrong message if I wouldn't be on here so thanx again

 

They are a franchise so poor practices from one store may not relate to all.
