    OME 881, Nitrochargers front and rear, diff drop, Wheelers 3 Leaf AAL, Supertop, shitty brush guard and a hole in the muffler
    so.... i have read and researched.... I have talked, and i have listened.......I have searched this site and others......i have exhausted my resources.......the question.......can and does, gl-5 gear oil, such as any that can be found on your local auto parts dealers shelves (including
    $30 mobil 1 75w 90 synthetic gear lube - 1 quart (pack of 2)
    mobil 1 75w 90 which admits it can be harmful) .....harm yellow metals in transmission such as the trans in my 2003 5vz with the 5 sp r150 trans. by nature gl5 oil, from what i understand (i claim to be no scientist), removes impurities from metals and suspends the impurities in the oil, thus doing its job, but with yellow or softer metals, it continuiously strips the metals in the process. is this true of false ? we are talking gl5 in a manual trans, good? bad,? or doesnt matter as long as you dont drain it again and look at the metal flakes? any final answers to this question would be awesome

    Listed in sig.......
    i have heard from numerous people here on TW that GL-5 trans fluid is harmful to the syncros in the trans so id stay clear off any fluid that is GL-5. instead go with GL-4.
