Anyone has experience installing a transmisson cooler on an '01 4cyl Prerunner?

Hey Jeff, I put the TRD Trans Cooler in my 03 Taco, fit like a glove.
The only thing I could see is you have to watch out for is that you connect the correct line to the trans return line. it cost me $190.00
I also replaced the oem fan clutch (for towing package) $98.00

I installed a tranny cooler on my 2000 3.4L and it was not that difficult. It was a tight squeeze because I didnt take off the condenser or the radiator, just the grill. I got an aftermarket cooler on ebay that is pretty much universal, but I installed it with the hoses pointing towards the ground which helps for the attachment of the hoses, but Im not sure if that is the correct angle. I got a little scare too because I tested to see which way the fluid ran so I could connect the right hoses and i got a little in my radiator and it blew all over my engine for a week. I thought I had broke the stock tranny cooler in my radiator. The fluid is very viscous so try not to get it everywhere like me. hope this helps a little

Thanks to everyone for your advice. Working on installing the cooler today, right after I install the receiver hitch, which is proving to be a bear!
