So the front end has had a hard life over the years with rock chips...etc. Some of the paint is fading so I would like to paint it.

Open to all options but the two schemes I have been thinking of are full black surround and emblem with matte inners.

Or vise versa being a matte surround and emblem with black inners.

Not sure the matte on black would offer the color difference so maybe do a black and charcoal scheme.

For reference here is a picture of the full truck.

Also want to take the side tacoma emblems off and paint them something other than chrome too.

    What do you think?

Foregive the crappy MS Paint photoshop but its all I got. Also only did half the grille because I didnt want to spend all day mocking it up and that way you can see what it looks like stock.

I vote sell this one and only drive the white one in the driveway.

One in the driveway has to work hard to maintain 50 mph on the highway. Not able to do daily driver status.

Man that white one is identical (sans lift) to the truck my dad had when I was growing up. I loved it so much I've only bought Toyota trucks. Nice truck!

Also, I say leave the grill alone. It looks nice and clean as is.

I literally just finished painting all the chrome on my grill gloss black and I think it looks great. I have an 03 though so the style is obvs completely different but I think would look good on your truck too

I'll post pics if I can bother to get around to it lol

I also painted the side Tacoma badges gloss black. Chrome isn't really my taste, especially chromed plastic.

Boredom is a luxury, lol. Leave it alone. Looks great as is is my vote. If you wanna mess with somethin, put a motor in the white one that will push it more than 50 mph...or the gears.

Not sure what kind they are but they are factory Toyota Alloys. Never seen another truck with them. Maybe just for 95.5?

Matte black that grille and emblem! That'd look sick!
