I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
This guy was the only one of us to hit this hill and that FJ concord it like a champ. It's steep as hell with 24" step up's crazy shit it was bad ass to watch.

Yeah traction has a lot to do with your tires so if you got good tires you can run the shit out of some hills like the one you hit.

True enough. In the old pre-fuel injection days I used to take my '84 Toyota Truck, with open diffs, up hills so steep the carb would start to flood. I've had 3 Jeeps since and none could match it for traction. My 2009 Taco is close, despite the IFS.

Pretty impressive. Now keep wheeling your truck.

I'm concerned about the Carpeted dash pad and the pine tree on the oh shit bar on the pass. Side.

I'm bettin that FJ was at least locked in the rear...maybe front and rear.

Nothing wrong with open diffs. The OP made it up his hill just fine. Probably because his truck articulates well and was able to keep the wheels on the ground at all times. Plus, the smoothness (relatively) of the hill meant he could also keep his momentum up which helps a lot when you have open diffs.

The rocky hill the FJ was on would require very slow going, with several spots where he would probably have to stop or at least hesitate. A locker helps a whole lot in those circumstances. I'll bet your hill is a real challenge when its wet.

    Just locked in the rear.

LOL your cracking me up you might make it up but you will have a lot of body damage that FJ has a 6" lift with 35's and he was on his sliders a lot going up that hill. i was standing at the edge of a 24"+ step.
