    Currently running 31's and would love to upgrade to some 285/75/16 BFG's. I heard if i do 33's it's recommended to regear. Post your pics and let me know how it drives on stock gearing or if you wish you had regeared. :)

    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    Here's mine i think it's okay with the 33's only if I'm on a steep hill i feel a power loss.

    I did have to do the pinch weld mod. other then that no rubbing on pavement off road is another story.

    For now I think it's fine on 33's now if i burn out my clutch i might just re-gear but i don't think it's absolutely necessary to re-gear.

    Gas suck! but on stop-&-go traffic, on the highway it ain't bad :)


    EDIT: Maybe cause i put 10 bucks every time i fill up, Im Mexican thats why ;):cool:

    285 BFG KM2s. My ultragauge says i average 16.4mpg with a somewhat heavy foot (highway+city+hitting the trails every weekend). Also I did not regear.

    I also noticed a little bit of a power loss going up steep hills and on the on ramp but other than that I hardly notice it.

    I run 33 12.50 15 swampers on my first Gen its my hunting truck and my toy it seems to do alright but almost have the money saved for re gear and locker in the rear

    I haven't regeared but I have noticed my truck is slower with the new tires. They r a lot heavier but I still don't need to regear

    noticed about 2 mph worse around town, but highway seems about the same.. if not better since the deck plate mod :D
