After reading a recent thread on here I finally decide to get rid of the chrome inserts on my front bumper. I was hesitant to do it at first with regular black paint because if I didnt like it i would be stuck with it but if i didnt like the plastic dip I could just take it off, but that wont be happening because I really do like it. so here are the pics.
Taped off the inserts and cleaned them with windex and gasoline.

    Wow. Looks great.

Anyway to get some close ups?

Question to anyone or everyone who's done the plastic dip.... do you just clean and wash the truck like you always do?

I just used Plasti-dip on my emblems following DYI directions perfectly and it was a disaster. the rumor that when peeling it comes right off the paint and not the emblems is just false. The plasti-dip peeled off of EVERYTHING immediately and I was extremely careful.

Thanks guys. I really like it. It was really easy to do too. You just have to be super carefull when taking the tape off. I went around with a razor blad between the edge of the paint and the tape. It worked perfectly. Ill try to post some close up pics tomorrow.
