For me, the clock complaints are more of a gripe of affection. It's like poking fun at a cross eyed family member out of love.

I got something to complain about, why don't our trucks fly? I think they should have added some wings and a jet engine. This is bull shit.

I love causing drama over a thread just for asking abuot a clock... yall need to get the tampons out of your a$$'s ( those who were blowing up, not the people who complained about the clock) personally, i have a problem with my clock too... the amber light is very very hard to see during the day light, i vote for a brighter light. i guess toyota just sucks at clock work lol

Its not the color that makes it suck in the daylight, its the design.

you're probally right, when looking at it at the angle of driving straight up, it just looks like there is no light, lighting up. but when you look dead on with it, u can see it... oh well, i program my radio to tell me the time because i am one of those "stupid teenagers" who puts a new head unit in... yeah im calling you out asshole. dont stereotype me

my 2000 doesn't even have a clock, just a blank in that location. i thought about adding one, but then realized i wouldn't even be able to see it, so i just have my headunit set to display the clock all the time.

really? Wasnt aware a kenwood cd hd radio reciever with mp3 / wma playback was considered "a piece of junk" compared to the stock tape deck

and there must be a bunch of morons in your area if they dont get a wire kit to plug into the factory harness.

furthermore, if i do go deaf by 40 at least i wont have to listen to people like yourself bitch about what i do to my own truck

I agree about the ridiculous whining...
But aftermarket head units devalue a vehicle?
When an aftermarket mp3/dvd/satnav unit is added to features on Kelly Blue Book, it typically adds a few bucks to the vehicle value.

a wiring kit eliminates the need to cut any wires. solder it to the new headunit and plug-n-play with the vehicle wiring harness, baby!

Cut and splicing radios in is so 1995.

The clock is in a retarded spot...end of story.
I've added a stick on clock to the dash of both Tacomas.
