no heat

i have a 01 tacoma and the heat doesnt work it blows air but just cold air i took the air control out and was wandering what the prob could be i believe it is the blend door but can not locate it

 

have you checked your thermostat?

 

i checked it it works fine the wire on the fire wall does move either when i turn it from hot to cold so i was thinking acutator

Based on all the info you've given. It doesn't sound like a coolant level problem, doesn't sound like a blower problem, doesn't sound like a heater valve problem. The only thing I can think of at this point is to flush out the heater core? Other than that maybe the temp door in the a/c/heater case is jammed or the control cable came off?

I tried finding a diagram of the HVAC box on your truck and I can't find one.

 

i flushed the heater coil and still not hot air and im having the same problem with diagrams

 

and as for the control cable i couldnt find one it all look to be electronic behind the control body

 

I'm having the same problem with my truck, and was wondering where the heater hoses are located.

Well I found the root of my problem. The previous owner who lived in Florida had bypassed the heater core. When I hooked it back up, I realized why. The Pipe going into the heater core had been deformed somehow, so coolant gushed out from the hose connection when the truck was running. I took off the hose and wedged a socked in there to get it back to a circular form and hooked it up again. worked like a charm. thanks for the help fellas.
