I recently lifted my 03 prerunner with a 2.5 spacer up front and a 3 inch shackle in back. Its getting old, rides like a boat, just not happy. Thinking about getting 5100's all around. Would it be possible to put a spacer on the 5100;s up front?

you might be able to get away with a 1" spacer since your a prerunner, but steering wise i think thats about it. could be wrong though and stacking lifts is sort of looked down upon. I wouldn't go with more than a 1/2" spacer and billies

yeah im thinking about taking the shackles off or dropping it a notch or 2 cuz it rides like crap over bumps in the back and just getting 5100 up front keeping back. would i need new springs for the new shocks? or keep my stock springs

if its riding as bad as u say it is u should definitly replace the entire spring/strut setup it would be worth it in the end. hows the arch of ur leaf springs?

well with the shackles in back it causes alot of stress.. there starting to arch downward.. i believe its because i have the shackles set to the highest lift possible.. if i were to lower it, it would take some of the stress of the shackkles on to the shocks = alittle smoother ride?

maybe a bit smoother but itll probably just put off the inevitable a little longer is all. if theyre starting to arch downwards youd definitly benefit from a new leaf pack, even if u removed the shackles and went with an AAL that again would only prolong the life of the stock leafs a little longer but still not give u the smooth ride your after.
