On an 2nd Gen, a lot. There is a lot of electronic crap you would have to do and parts or expensive. My guess, $4000-$5000.

i bought it used. but when im just out on the streets i can tell that the right rear is mainly (if not always) the one with the power to it..its just when my tires start to spin, like on a trail, that i see the left rear kicking in

There's no diff lock on mine... it is a bilstein edition and I know that in 06 they dropped the horsepower by 10. This thing leaves a pair of tire tracks every time you give it more than a quarter pedal.

I had hot rods years ago and this one is a full posi... basically a tight limited slip designed for dirt. The rotors and calipers are bigger and it has 17" wheels to fit over the calipers. Not sure if this is an oddball option on mine ... like the bigger driveshaft and U Joints...

This things chews tires and is barely drivable in the winter... I put 60's on it in an attempt to minimize the tire chewing through corners, but a set of tires lasts about 25,000 miles.

I love the truck... 0-60 in 6 seconds makes it the ultimate sleeper, but man it is an oddball.

Hello - I have a 2007 and am looking to installing limited slip for my winter driving. If you have done the mod I would be most interested in hearing the details of it.
    Thanks

why not trade for a 4wd OR and get both? rear locker alone will not match a standard 4wd.
