The thing was, I made it to the white line where u stop if red. I was going approximately 20 mph, the light turned yellow when i made it to the white line. I seen a car stopped at the light and when i decided to go through he punched the gas through the red light and proceeded to hit me. I had plenty of time to make it through, i had plenty of witnesses. When i pulled over to make sure he was ok, he got out of his car and said " man i had my head up my ass, i dont know what i was thinking!" I said " sir, you are correct."

From the tiny pic you posted it looks like insurance will fix that. Don't worry his insurance will pay the bill. On the bright side if it's more to fix than value of truck, then it's upgrade time!

Well heres the thing, this guy was driving a small cobalt and the main impact was on the tire.

Damaged parts from what i could see:
    -Bottom of door smashed
    -Front corner panel dented
    -Rim chipped
    -Tie rods bent and broke

Stuff im concerned about that I could not see:
    Possible frame bent or torqued?

Truck has 128k on it, good condition. I blue booked it and I got a price of 6K blue book from dealer. What if it cost to much to repair and they buy it back. I wont be able to upgrade because the truck isnt worth much anyways and im currently laid off of work with no extra money to spare on a new truck. Im getting the shaft end, i will be downgrading.. Wont i?

No, just let the other guy's insurance fix it with actual Toyota parts at an actual Toyota dealer so they will warrany repairs and go more. Here I'll give ya somethin the feel better about........Someone ran a red light while I was runnin my green light and T-boned me and no one got a ticket because there were no witnesses. One leaf pack, different rims, a bed and the uncut non convertible cab I already had went on it and I drove it another 15 yrs or so before "upgrading" to the 05. I fixed mine tho, not the dealership.........I'm colorblind too.:D Doncha like those spinners with AT tires? lol

Trying to find another suitable replacement Toyota truck for a used older Toyota truck or Tacoma in similar shape to the one lost at a reasonable price for the age and miles on it is never an easy task, regardless of the economy.

Dont worry about having to down grade because bluebook does not match up to what they go for on private market. Chances are it wont get totaled from the looks of it. Basically if they offer you bluebook, and it doesnt match up to what it cost to replace the truck, go on autotrader and craigslist and print out about 20 adds with in 250 miles of you of trucks that are very close in options and mileage, and take them to your insurance guy and just say all you want is to have the same truck again. They will help match you.
