The other day I was installing some fog lights and a winch on my truck, so I disconnected the battery. When I reconnected it, my alarm went off. The problem was that I was not aware that my truck even had an alarm.

When I bought the truck I was not given a key fob or anything, but I noticed it had a little red button on the dash. Well I figured out that this button turns the alarm off.

So I just walked outside and took my dash all to pieces trying to figure out the brand of my alarm, so that I might could buy a key fob, but it doesn't have a brand anywhere on it. I took some pictures and hopefully someone on here can maybe tell me the brand.

I searched around on here and really couldn't come up with anything of value. Here are the pictures.

    The button:

    The main module:

    The shock sensor:

    The relay and fuse:

A tag that was wrapped around the fuse:

its probably a walmart or other cheap alarm system if the valet button is like that on the dash. its hard to tell what/if any fob will work with that. usually alarm systems like viper and the like are labeled on their main box.

Thanks that helped alot. I must have the factory alarm because the programming instructions describes what my truck does when you press the red button exactly. I'm gonna call that place when I get a chance and order a couple of fobs.

Glad I could help you. It is my understanding that only some "Southern Editions" trucks came with an alarm. My truck was sold in Mississippi.

My alarm works well other than the remote range is not that good. This goes with the Factory FOB or the aftermarket FOB.
