I just ordered the ToyTec ultimate lift with the 5100s in front and 5150s in rear with AAL. If i set the 5100s at 3", what size tire should i run? also would u guys suggest running toyota factory wheels or aftermarket? i dont really want my tires to stick out real wide. I posted a thread on here trying to figure out what lift i wanted to go with and it really helped me. now i am trying to decide on the tire/wheel combo. can you use an aftermarket wheel wihtout having your tires stick out too wide?

What's better for offroad capabilities- 265/75R16 or 285/75R16?

3" lift Up front(Donahoe Racing ext. travel coil overs, Camburg UCA's), 1.5-2" lift in the back(aal and some billy 10" stroke short bodies), Bushwhacker Cut-Out fender flairs, 16"x10" Procomp Street locks, and 305/70 Procomp X-Terrains.
I would think the 285s would be better because they are wider. If you have 15" rims I would recommend 32s, I would not go to 33/12.5s because you will have to trim a lot off your truck.
