Good idea to have the grill black but the faux chrome is a bitch to sand down and get some thing for the paint to hold to and the grill is pretty big to sand down. I have sanded down small emblems and then used adhesion promoter and painted over the faux chrome. But the grill is bigger and it is on the front of the truck where you get gravel strikes and lots of stuff hitting the grill chipping at paint. I replaced the grill with a black one off of flea bay

np. I like it a lot, stuck out a bit more than I wanted but doesn't really bother me. I also plated the top just recently. one of the best looking bumpers you can get for the price imo. Ive got a bunch of pics in my build thread

Yeah whats the link to your build? I tried to find it but couldn't. Also, how come you did not get the one with the pointed end? I see people usually favor the low profile over the other one, although its only about 10 more dollars...

Yea that's just personal preference, I've heard that the stinger sticks out a looot and it's not really my thing, if that's what you are talkin about. They do sell a "light bar" separately which I know box rocket later installed and I'm thinking about getting as well it's almost like a shorter much more mild stinger. My build is https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/luxs-01-build.431341/

Also here's the plate I added, ignore the AWFUL paint job

I did the same plate on mine and think it adds a nice amount of character
