Taking Interior out, replacemnt...

Reviving old faithful, aka Muffy. She was my first mud buggy and now will be my daily transportation at the farm.
Her seats are broken and carpet is filthy (courtesy of two labs). Arm rest is broken. Center console is damaged from radio theft.
Carpet wise, thinking of ripping it out and coat it with the same stuff that coats the truck bed. Good or bad idea?
Any idea of new seats, new center console, and arm rest?

Without knowing where you are from I would say take a trip to the scrapyard, there may be a few Tacomas there that didn't survive the frame inspection and they may have some good interior parts.

 

I am 75 miles north of Houston, TX.
May I ask which years the interior most resemble my 1998 SR5 extended Cab, V6, 4WD?
