    Jesse,
Thank you for your service to our country and welcome to Tacoma World ~~~ Nice truck!!!

I understand that with everything else going on in life some folks dont have the time or place to work on thier own truck and that is OK...

4-wheel parts are independantly owned and operated so experience will vary shop to shop ~ some are better then others. BUT all should stand behind their work.

on the brakes ~ Often times the shop will try to sell other repairs to avoid the ower feeling like the lift caused issues (Brakes / steering / drive line). Just understand that in the bad economy they will try to upsell you parts and service and with lift install it is as much a CYA move as trying squeeze the owner for more $$$$.

Good luck and keep us posted

did you re-gear? also what did you do with your old wheels? I have the same truck and was thinking of lifting it, how does it handle and accelerate with the 6" lift?

I still have my old tires and wheels and it handles better with the lift on I think!! And acceleration is great till you get to 5th gear then it's a lil weak

Thanks!!! And it was kinda expensive! It was $2100 for the lift $100 apiece for the wheel and $291 a tire all together it was $4800 that's instalation and mounting and balancing the tires and a control arm bushing kit, a three year warranty on the lift and a life of the tire warranty!!!

2100 for the lift is not bad! i mean, to drop it off and pick it up finished and warrantied is a good deal for 2100 if you ask me. Rims and tires are on the high side for my taste, but im sure that what they would cost anywhere and i know that im super cheap (im running mis-matched tires that the local shop gave me for free b/c they are almost bald)

Looks awsome, update us with the new gas mileage if you don't mind.
