Lookin to get new tires soon. i wanna get 32's but dont want to regear. ive got the 2.7l 4banger with 163000 miles. no engine mods. think i could get away with just new headers and an intake rather than a regear?

I'm running the 265/75r16's (equal to 31.6" I think) and I'm doing just fine with the 4-banger and no mods. Personally I went with the Hankook Dynapro ATM's in P rated cause they were only 6 lbs heavier than the stock Dunlops in the smaller size. I had the BFG AT's on my '99 and while they were a great tire, I wanted something lighter this time (save some power and gas). Very happy with the Dynapros and have taken them offroad three or four times.

Do It! I ran 33 on both an 84 than my 88 which both had the 4cly 22re eng. Had a 2 inch lift inte 84 and 4 inch lift in the 88. Never had any problems although you will lag in power and in the fuel consumption area's. Just get in the slow lane and gear down, let em pass!

ive been lookin around and i can get a 33x10.5 km2 for cheaper than a 32x11.5. think i could get away with that and some mild trimming?
