Hello! My name is Eddie and I'm fairly new here....

I'm trying to remove the stock head unit so I can access the FM antenna input. I LOVE my satellite radio, but I want it to be crystal clear, so I need to instal an FM Direct connection. Usually when I work with stock head units, I'm replacing them so I just rip them out to get an aftermarket one in there. The stock head unit actually seems fine to me this time, and I want to ensure that I will not break any stock clips or fasteners while attempting to take the stock radio out... I've only had the truck a few weeks.

I know i've seen it here before.... but I cant find it!

Sorry if its a re-post... I will delete this posting if someone can hook it up with a link!

    Thanks in advance!

    Eddie

    follow steps 1-4

    - once you get the black trim plate off, the stock radio is held in place by 4 nut/screws. - remove the nut/screws - pull the stock radio out - disconnect the harness - disconnect the antenna - disconnect any auxiliary input devices (i.e. cd changer) if you have them
    - when you go to put your new deck in, just follow these steps in reverse
