2001 Doublecab backseat fold?

I was trying to put some seat covers on today and couldn't figure out how to fold the bottom part of the backseat forward to get the straps of my Exactfit Seat Covers to wrap around and across. I don't have a manual to consult and couldn't find any levers, is there a way to do it without using fish tape or something because my hands certainly don't fit?

There should be a strap by the head rest on both sides
Pull this strap and they seats should fold forward

 

The bottom of the back seat doesn't fold up. It is bolted down front and rear.

I too purchased a set of seat covers from "Exact Seat covers" and tried to lift up the bottom rear seat to slide the seat cover straps and couldn't....How did you get your seat straps underneath? Did you have to unbolt the (seat bottom) and then pull the seat straps?

I am very happy with those seat covers!

You have to unbolt and remove the backseat. It really isn't that big of a deal. My son and I just put a set of wet okole seat covers in my doublecab and had to remove the seat. There are only four bolts if I remember. the front two are under a plastic cap, which just pries up.

 

Thanks!! I removed the bolts (2) in the front and (2) bolts in the back part, (14 MM socket) and it came right out! I installed my new seats covers!!
