    i see bookoo suspension posts for 4wd guys but very few for us 2wd guys. i use my taco as a daily driver at work and would like to update the suspension as i am still on the stock components at 150k. recommendations?

    Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    They have the same suspension, therefore the same lift choices. Everything for 4wd will work on a pre.

    i don't offroad my truck except for going on forest service access roads to go dirtbiking. so no need for a beefy suspension. i would think that the 5100's might be too firm for everyday use?

    Nope, tons of guys run them. You can use them at the stock setting if need be.
