My frame failed the inspection last week and I am looking into replacing the shocks while they have everything apart and I dont have to pay labor. They said the frame would arive in 30-60 days. I have no mechanic skills nor do I have any mechanic or suspension knowledge so I need some advice. I am looking into getting the 5100's and 5125's for my truck but I have a lot of questions.

    1. I already have 2" leveling kit on my truck but I dont think it would hurt for it to come up another inch so my tires have a little extra room. Do I leave the spacer on or just set the shocks to the highest level?

    2. Is it necessary to replace the coilover too? If so what should I get?

    3. Is DSW the cheapest place to purchase these items?

Is there anything else I shoud consider replacing while my truck is totally apart?

Should I post this under the suspension forum?
