Did my first "mod" started building a platform for the dog while smoking a turkey since he doesn't fit on the seats in my xtra cab. Still need to wrap it in some all weather carpet and get a cushion made up for it.

Had a local guy fab up some custom bumpers and sliders since I couldnt justify paying what these places are asking for plain jane bumpers these days. I took him some pictures of what I like as examples. What he came back with was nothing like anything I could have imagined. Turned out pretty badass. What you guys think?

Looks good. A bit too much tubbing up front for my personal taste but I bet it's stout.

And rear looks a bit wide for me as well.

But I bet it'll all hold up good haha

Thanks I appreciate it. Now trying to decide what to do next. Thinking maybe snorkel.

Yeah I loved the softopper but am really loving this hard top. More than I originally expected.
Bumpers looks damn good can't wait to see musher in person. You gonna add side hoops to the rear?

What Yota logo is that? I'm going junkyard scrounging tomorrow for a wrecked FJ Cruiser for one.

Its off a 40 series Landcrusier. Heres the part number you can google search it and find a bunch of sites selling them for around 30 bucks.

Little Customization = I cut out two slats on each side (sawzaw), then sanded the rough spots down. Drilled holes into the bottom bar and mounted the lights with the pre-existing wires. Works like a charm! The only problem is the plastic has a descent amount of play. So i plan to cuz a piece of steel block 1"x1" and stuff that between the bottom section for more support.
