I would do the reman if its cheaper. If they're close to the same price than new. The reman one will have all new parts and seals, they just re-use the housing.

You'll need an alignment after you install the rack. Also might consider polyurethane rack bushings while you have the rack out.

I've used K&N in previous vehicles but after researching them I would only use it in a vehicle that sees very low mileage. I use WIX and Toyota air filters because they have very high filtration. A couple extra HP at redline isn't worth all the dust and crap that gets into the engine. My opinion.

Just go quoted $750 in labor just to install my lift!

They didn't ask any questions except what size lift it was... I'm gonna call later this week and see if I can't get somebody else on the phone and get a reasonable price!

Definitely going to have to look for some other places this week, but everybody seems to be closed on the weekends...

Bilstein 5100's/Eibach's up front and an add-a-leaf with rear 5100's... Tried installing it the past 2 weekends, so I said screw it I'm just going to have somebody install the font coils and shocks and the rear add-a-leaf. I'll just install the rear shocks myself.

If you can do the rears...you can do the fronts and the AAL. It'll save you a few bills for sure.

I've already spent 2 Saturdays (15 hours) trying to get it installed... I'm fed up with it now, trust me.

Well last Saturday I was finally able to get the passenger side installed, then when I went to do the driver side I couldn't get the castle nut off on the uca at all. Sprayed it with pb blaster throughout the week, removed the pin, but I couldn't get it off for nothing. Ended up stripping half the bolt as well, and yes I was using the correct size socket. So I had to take out the passenger side and re-install the stock coil and shock on the passenger side.

Oh I see. I would have just taken the old shocks off and bring them to a tire shop to swap the coil onto the new shocks. Thats what I did. Then they can deal with the top nut

No that wasn't the problem, I had no trouble at all getting the shocks/coils setup to install. It was removing the upper ball joint bolt that connects to the uca that I couldn't remove...

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.

i seriously don't get why people take the UCA off..i didn't have to for my Eibachs and 5100s..you just have to pry the LCA down. Get a long bar or something and goes down no problem...

Took me less then an hour to put in the 5100s and eibachs..

700 bucks though is just retarded.

too bad you don't live closer..maybe to check a regional thread and see if someone can help. Shouldn't take more the 5 hours or so to do. I did it around then with all new leaf packs and shackles..

I have no choice but to do it that way... If i just pry the lca down my upper ball joint hits the new coils not allowing me to install them... Trust me I tried that haha
