Y'all are talkin about getting 20+ MPG with the 3.4's right? Wtf my 2000 gets just over 17 with stock a/t tires. Not fair.

I usually get 19-20 mpg with my 3.4l auto. A stick should be even better. But I have a bug shield. :stirthepot:

Yeah I only get 17-18 with my 3.4l manual. Get even worse if I'm on the highway doing 85 on the turnpike for a while. I got 19 the other day and was amazed. I cleaned my maf a couple months ago and saw no increase.

My prediction is that you'll be modding the DC sooner than you think because you're going to like it better than your xtracab. Then after a trip or two driving Frank you'll be missing all the things about the DC and think how much better the trip could be if you had all the mods on the DC. Then eventually you'll realize that having two trucks that are so similar is pointless and a complete waste of money since you almost always pick the same one to drive anyway.

I know you don't want to acknowledge it right now after all the work you have into Frank with the body swap and everything, but it just makes sense. I'm even willing to start a poll so people can start placing bets on how long it takes you to come to the conclusion that swapping everything to the DC should have been the first thing you did. ;)

Paul, any change in the ride after relocating the shocks into that position? I'm hoping to have some time to get mine done soon.

I'll let you know Adam, I've only driven it less than 5 miles. I can tell you that after taking off the sway bar it feels very loose. I love the new suspension. Night and day compared to the 5100's. Taking off the 3 inch block and 3 inch aal helped a lot as far as ride quality. Relocating my shocks to this position from what I've read should help with flex. What is your opinion about that?

Confirmed that my VSV canister is cracked. Good news, it was easy to find. Bad news, it isn't a cheap fix.

Yeah that position should give a bit better flex but a little less cornering stability.
