Sounds like the collar is crossthreaded. It happens with Kings if you loosen the allen lock key too much. My 10 year old son can adjust mine as long as the collar is on the threads correctly.

Ok . The SC was a real fun install. Just make sure you have all the correct hardware, gaskets, and vacuum hoses/connectors. Install is a breeze then. I would honestly recommend installing a wideband first and seeing how your truck operates without the SC. Then install the SC and see how bad it leans out. Then install the urd 7th injector kit and you will have a good starting point for tuning. That's where the fun begins .

They have been like this since the day I bought them brand new. I tried to crank them up while on the truck back then and broke 2 punches that king provided before I got half a turn. I finally decided to pull them off and do it this way. Maybe they came cross threaded but I checked and they look pretty normal.

The one in the vid sounds like that, or maybe ice being crushed in a blender? My trans sounds fine except for this running liquidy sound it makes in reverse, something I assume is normal. Also feels tight and shifts very quickly, I guess that's why I was under the impression of good build quality.

Basically to calibrate it to your truck. Learn where the numbers are reading, then when you supercharge you know what you're comparing them to. You should do the same with timing so you know how much to retard your timing when you get to tuning the 7th.

Ok. Well maybe that's pushing it. But atleast monitor it with an obd software before the sc. Get an idea of your fuel trims and timing. Tuning the timing will be very easy if you see what the timing is before you install the SC. Make a couple wot runs and log it with an obd software. Then once you install the SC, make the same runs and check your timing, it will more than likely drop a few degrees. Take the difference in the 2 runs and use the r4 tuning software that comes with the 7th injector kit and add back in however many degrees the timing has dropped. I just a always thought it would be useful to see how rich your actually running with the stock fuel system. Some stock systems can actually keep up with some low boost. I feel like it would be good to get an idea of how rich the motor runs at wot without an sc to have something to compare your new afrs to. Just something I think would be interesting.

Get a spanner wrench and also get new springs, Mine were a bitch with worn out springs, not easily done now with new springs but definitely doable on the truck and with a little muscle
